Help Me Orgie Members, Your My Ownly Hope: House Song Help Needed 
There's a deep house soul song that I just adore but haven't been able to find out who sings it. The lyrics go like this "Turn me on.... Like a flower waiting to bloom. Like the life of a > groom I'm gonna be waiting for you to come and turn me on. Turn me on..." It might be Nina Simone singing or a guy that sounds like her. That's it. David Harness has it featured in one of his podcasts and I couldn't figure out who it was....as I was listening to the lyrics to type them out here it dawned on me that it might be Simone. For future reference, sos, if you have an iPhone or Blackberry, you should really download the Shazam app. It records ambient sounds, and if it picks up a song, it will check its database and tell you what song it is.
I've been able to identify some really obscure stuff I've heard and liked while in stores or on radio stations where the DJs suck at announcing performers. I definitely recommend it! Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
