Great song!


Her 1987 album 'If I Were Your Woman' is probably her most consistent album.One great tune after another.

I'll never forget, I went out of town to vist family and my cousin took us to a club; the DJ played "You're Puttin a Rush On Me" like 17 times in a row. Nobody tripped because it was such a tight song, finally he went on and played the whole damn album. I went out the very next day and bought 'If I Were Your Woman'. Right! I was going to say I would hardly call Stephanie obscure. She was HUGE in the 80's. Well, I guess maybe she would be obscure to anyone under the age of 30. I've always loved "Secret Lady". I especially like the line where she says, "I'm too fine to be sneaking around".
