Great news... It's incredible how much incredible music he has released over the past 5 years. Much respect to an artist who continually makes amazing music and gets it to the people fully under his own control and on his own terms.

P.S. Very cool picture!

He's released a lot, but honestly, while I love TTD's record company based albums, his independent stuff has went from "pretty good" to "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!"

Half of the Wildcard album was just nonsense, the other half was pretty good. 90% of the free stuff he's put out is trash. I've lost most of my faith in him as a once-great artist.

But I'll give this a listen.

ey

The last thing of his I heard I was Angels and Vampires Vol 1 and wasn't pleased.

It has what I consider to be one of the worst lines ever in a song. In his song called Dolphin he sings"I traded my slippers for flippers" and I'm sure he ain't joking.

I did really like Wild Card, but as with so many modern albums it was too goddamn long.

This is what happened 2 an artist that loses his baseline.

LMAO.... What an idiotic statement. Who is his "baseline"...YOU???? Ernest Sewell??? Gimme a break.... I've been a part of the online community of Sananda fans (for lack of a better word) since 2001 and I'm well aware of all the lovers & the haters out there... Generally speaking, that people that truly dug Sananda throughout his career are STILL digging his new stuff just as much if not more... What he lost were the type of fans who are still waiting for "Introducing the Hardline" part 2 or who are always wishing for something that sounds like their definition of "FUNKY."

He never lost his true fans. A lot of you are still stuck in comparing music and art based on Billboard charts and videos and you don't realize that true artists have moved away from that game.

Judging from the fact that Graycap posted just a few weeks ago that he just now "discovered" or "gets" Jimi Hendrix, I think it's safe to say that you don't know what the hell you are talking about.... Same goes for anyone who can toss off half of "WildCard" as "nonsense" (feel free to point out which songs are nonsense so that everyone can look them up and realize how bad your musical judgement is)....

Maybe one day some of you will be lucky enough to finally "get it" when it comes to Sananda! I think the real problem would be if some of you "experts" liked it, then I would think Sananda might be doing something wrong!

Peace suckaz!
