Yup.... To wail and sing key and in control very few people can do it. I've seen Chaka in concert at least once a year since 74. I can assure you she sounds, her band 10 times better than on those videos. | |

Her best performances as of late are the ones where she keeps the wailing to a minimal. And as far as her concert performances, Chaka has always had the reputation of being a notoriously unreliable live performer. I've seen her in concert several times and each time, she was perfect. However, I've heard far too many horror stories from other people over the last 20 years or so who said they saw her in concert and she sounded horrific. And there are the stories of her strangely exiting the stage in between songs and, many times, she forgets the lyrics to songs she's been singing for years!
