Father Of Michael Jackson Accuser Committed Suicide The father of a boy who sued Michael Jackson and accused him of sexual molestation died by committing suicide, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Evan Chandler, formerly a Beverly Hills dentist, shot himself in the head. He was found dead in Jersey City, N.J. Jersey City Police Department spokesman Stan Eason told RadarOnline.com: “Evan Chandler’s body was found at 5.35 pm on November 5 by the concierge at his luxury apartment building in Jersey City. We have ruled it as suicide because he was found with a gun held to his body and had a single bullet wound to the side of his head. Mr. Chandler was 64. EXCLUSIVE: Father of Michael Jackson Molestation Accuser Dead “There was no note found in the apartment but officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition. A doctor based at Colanta Hematology in Bayonne, NJ, had called the concierge, asking him check on Mr. Chandler’s apartment as Mr. Chandler had missed an appointment. It was thanks to the concierge’s actions that Mr. Chandler’s body was discovered. Mr. Chandler’s body has now been returned to his family.” In the early 1990s, Chandler reported Jackson to authorities in both Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, charging the King of Pop with molesting his son, then 13. PHOTOS: Inside Michael Jackson’s house The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office launched a 13-month probe into the allegations and convened a grand jury to look into the sexual abuse charges. In 1994, the boy gave police audio-taped evidence alleging abuse by Jackson. The boy and his father also brought a civil lawsuit against Jackson. But the case never went to trial because the boy received a civil settlement for “personal injuries arising out of claims of negligence” from the superstar. Both parties signed a confidentiality agreement, promising not tot talk about the case or the multi-million-dollar settlement. http://www.radaronline.co...ed-suicide

I don´t mind that it´s a separate thread. Cause not everyone follows the MJ sticky and I think even the people who don´t follow it should learn about it. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

In worst case, I´ll just ignore the thread. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. A few facts about Evan CHandler:
During the taped conversation, when talking about his plan, he was asked how this would affect his son, and Chandler replied, "That's irrelevant to me...It will be a massacre if I don't get what I want. It's going to be bigger than all us put together...This man [Jackson] is going to be humiliated beyond belief...He will not sell one more record" During the time of the case, he was $68,400 behind in his child support payments, even though he was well-paid as a dentist. He admitted to using sodium amytal. He didn't try to put MJ in jail, and instead he went for his money. He tried to sue him again afterwards and wanted a court order to allow him to publish and cause to be distributed to the public for sale his own musical composition something he called EVANstory. In 2006, Jordan sued Evan Chandler for abuse. He struck him on the head from behind with a 12-1/2-pound [dumbbell] weight sprayed his eyes with Mace or pepper spray and tried to choke him. So...yeah.

Found this on another site: According to Dr. Resnick, a Cleveland psychiatrist, "sodium amytal is a psychiatric medication that cannot be relied on to produce fact. People are very suggestible under it. People will say things under sodium amytal that are blatantly untrue." He goes on to say, "It is quite possible to implant an idea through the mere asking of a question. The idea can become their memory, and studies have shown that even when you tell them the truth, they will swear on a stack of Bibles that it happened.Sodium amytal has been a factor in other child molestation cases."

Yeah, read the GQ article from '94. It's long but it's a good one. This was one shady mofo. http://www.buttonmonkey.c...scher.html

thanks to Vanilli for sending this to me Interesting view points, you guys. Personally, I try to stay removed from all-out hatred of anyone, no matter how awful they appear to be, or what I feel they've done. The Universe works these things out in it's own way and doesn't need my emotional investment in the outcome. I just stand back, take a look at the always surprising unfolding of events, think -- wow, that's really something, isn't it? -- and then just hope everyone who is truly involved finds some measure of peace in it. I'm not so sure that terrible people get what they deserve, either. Because I know a lot of awesome people to whom terrible things have happened, I don't think God doles out punishment to the deserving and rewards to the rest of us. I just think everyone is on a personal path and that if we are going to be the undoing of ourselves, only we know how we've gone about it -- or even if we had nothing to do with it at all and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I actually knew Evan Chandler.
I met him several times in the 1990s. I had lots of secret meetings with Evan Chandler, trying to get to the bottom of what was going on. I was pretty young, sort of green and wish I had my present level of expertise to be able to have applied back then. I have stories about that guy that I have never even published. He was about as inconsistent as they come. He was so determined to get me on his side, I thought he was just a tad scary. If you read my book you sort of get how I felt -- feel -- about him. When it came out, he called me screaming at me for not just buying his story 100%. He actually threatened me, and I thought... okay, pal, now I know who you really are. I wish it had all been handed differently. To be honest, I wish MJ had never settled, and I told Michael that several times. But... he felt he had to save his life, and I understood that, too. He really was in bad shape. However, I wish it had gone to trial so we could have had real evidence presented in a court of law - like the Arvizo nonsense -- and then really been able to sort through it and come to some real decisions. It all seems so useless now, though, doesn't it? And such a shame. Now... I want The Interview with Jordie. I want that interview, damn it. Something tells me I'm going to get it, too. Don't know why... just a sense I have always had about it. Peace, my friends. Live your very good lives. Things have a way of working themselves out...
