Hard to argue with any of that.
Great songs sung by a great singer. (Even though i'm partial to Dionne Warwick interpretations of Bacharach/David tunes) 
That kind of Pop songwriting is pretty much unheard of these days. With both songs, the well constructed melodies never repeat themselves during the entire verse. Good stuff.
