Remember Vivica on Out All Night with Patti as her mama. She was so cute back then.

Yes.Unfortunately,i never got to see those episodes
because i worked nights. I got to see a few episodes
when BET picked it up briefly in syndication.
Yes lawd Vivica was beautiful then. Maybe it's just me
but it seems when she became major her whole attitude has
changed to ghetto fab. I don't know if she was always like this.

Vivica is from an upper middle class upbringing,,,,,but somehow, SOME middle class kids mistake the "ghetto fab" act as "humble" whateva the hell that means lol

Mind you, I'm from the ghetto lol but even us ghetto folks know when to leave the "ghetto act",,,,,AT HOME lol

Kinda off topic but I thought bringing the discussion back to 50 Cent. I like the guy so `what do you guys think of the new cd and film?

I like the cd. Definitely better than 'Curtis' (that was a huge dissapointment) but kinda sounds like a replica of 'Get Rich Or Die Trying'. Psycho sounds like In Da Club part II whereas Hold Me Down as P.I.M.P. part II. That said 50 is back doing what he does best (gangsta rap) and the album can be heard without skipping any tracks (except possibly the horrible first single 'OK You're Right'). 'Baby By Me' stands out as one of the best songs 50 ever made.

And now the film. First of all I have to say that I think 50 has potential as an actor. 'Get Rich Or Die Trying' was good and 'Home Of The Brave' was even better. This one looks like a poor recreation of the 'Get Rich Or Die Trying' film. You have the well-meaning guy with some worthy talents (here it is basketball but this theme is left unexplored) who after some personal trouble (here is the death of his mother) gets into the gangsta business in order to support his genious young brother. In the process he kills scores of people, his brother seems to slightly turn into a bad boy himself (although this theme is left unexplored too), he finds a gf (with whom he has some steamy sex in the shower) and kills a lesbian (who just before her passing had (guess what?) steamy sex with a girl). True it doesn't sound very good and in fact it is not. The end however kinda makes up for this. The oh-so-nice gf apparently is not all-that-nice and... well you get the picture.

Taken together the cd/dvd project is not gonna bring 50 back to the top of the hip-hop league. But for the fans it is a return back to acceptable material. He won't loose millions of fans as was the case with 'Curtis' but he won't win anyone new either. That said, based on this project, I'd gladly buy the next one too.

Actually Vivica executive produces a lot of her straight to dvd releases. She is making an even bigger profit off of it than her Big time movie roles. She runs her own career now and has her own company and has her hands in everything besides 50's pants. So there u have it.

I know..she's found a very quiet, very lucrative niche market in producing straight to dvd black soap opera-esque dramas, B-thrillers and romantic comedies. Her production company churns those movies out on the regular (almost as much as ole Princey boy churns out music), and can usually be found at either a Walmart or black hair salon near you. At 45 in Hollywood, and as a minority where acting roles are greatly limited, she has her hustle down nod

Exactly! I worked with both Vivica & fifty and no matter what gossip is going around about them. They could care less. They are cashing them big checks and that is all that really matters. The gossip is just keeping there name out there.

Vivica and especially fifty are master manipulators in keeping there name in the publics mouth
eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince
