Better R&B Group: Dru Hill or Blackstreet? Since the first one got a lot of discussion going, I thought I'd match up another two groups who had similar careers. My vote goes to Dru Hill, but once again, it's very close. If you'd like to take part in the poll, please click on the link in my signature. Musically, my vote goes the Blackstreet. Their self-titled debut album is still worth buying.

Blackstreet. Dru Hill took some time to grow on me. I used to think How Deep Is Your Love was a great song and the soundtrack to my holidays in grade 10, but now I think it's crap!

I liked them both, but I'm going with Dru Hill I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.

Both groups had their share of drama. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I would have to go with Blackstreet. I can play all of their albums in their entirety, I can't say the same about Dru Hill. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Blackstreet 4 sure! Their first 2 albums were really good. Didn't care for the 3rd and 4th as much, but they had some ok songs, too.
Not to mention, Blackstreet had some damn-good remixes. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Blackstreet was just All they had was "No Diggity" and the restadatshit was average. At least they were more musically versatile than 112. The stuff Teddy did for New Jack Swing and mj's dangerous album, the remix of if you wanna fix featuring slash, and so forth

Dru Hill had great vocals, but Blackstreet would be my pick - musically, personality-wise and overall impression.
Besides - No Diggity is one of my all-time favs, that would've definitely tipped the scale. "Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies -
tongue-tied and twisted, just an earthbound misfit, I"

That song had old and young people singing "No diggity, no doubt". I used to love 2 c old "playas" on the floor to this one. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
