I love Tevin.

Has a child singer Tevin was a great, but like most child stars he seemed to find it hard to make that transition from successful child star to adult star. The child stars that do seem to make that transition are few and far between. [Edited 11/15/09 2:16am] | |

[Edited 11/15/09 2:16am] I think it had to do with his personal demons that caused his career to die. Not to mention, his record company (Qwest) was not properly promoting his last 2 releases due to budget issues. The self-titled album and "Back To The World" should have done a bit better than they did, but Qwest didn't put any money into it. Not too longer after he did his last album, Qwest dropped his Greatest Hits and left Warner Brothers. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

A few months ago, someone posted a message about Tevin Campbell because he was in a Broadway play. Apparently, he enjoys Broadway and that's what he's focused on now. Plus, he also knows that the music industry has changed. For some strange reason, looks are more important than talent. Tevin may not have a career as a recording artist right now, but singing in Broadway plays is not a bad back-up plan. He's doing just fine. | |
