What does anyone think of this? He is being described as a french Mika, but besides the style, hair and happy sounding music, i think they are quite different, I think this guy is more laid back and Mika is more theatrical.

he looks a lot like prince, so much he could be his son.
but he doesn't sound like prince, sliimy sings like a girl (he sounds like those gay transvestites who took female hormones when they were teenagers and they end up with women's voices) and is totally effeminate (his singing and demeanor, and kinda looks like girl/androgynous, without the need of any makeup). Prince is really masculine (vocally, psysically, demeanor) in comparison. Prince looks androgynous with the aid of makeup.
Even Mika is really masculine (more masculine vocals, like Freddy Mercury, yes he was gay, but his vocals were masculine) compared to Sliimy.

a lot of people notice he looks a lot like prince, for example comments on youtube, DelightfulDenise says"Kinda looks like he might be related to Prince but to compare no way, Prince will always be amazing and maybe one day Sliimy will be too."

look at the picture.
look at comments under it. Bongo says"looks like Prince and River Cuomo's love child"

Irriiiiisistible French Wonder Boy "Sliimy" releases CD "Paint Your Face" in US on September 15th

-No. 1 Trending Topic on Twitter and Over One Million Streams on MySpace

-Sliimy Debuts as First Artist on Perezcious Music/Warner Bros. Records

*Sliimy is pronounced "Slim-ee" - (rhymes with Jimmy) though some fans refer to
him as Sleeeee-me
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
20-year-old French singer songwriter Sliimy - already a phenomenon in his own
country as well as on Twitter and MySpace (myspace.com/sliimy) with over one
million streams - will be digitally releasing his debut CD "Paint Your Face" on
Perezcious Music/Warner Bros. Records on September 15th, it was announced today
by his record label. Sliimy is the first artist signed to Perezcious Music -
Perez Hilton`s label with Warner Bros. Records.
Sliimy has been described as "an artist with high energy and childlike glee that
suggests a kindergarten Prince with ADD let loose in a toy instrument shop of
the future" and "a tumble of colours and curls with an array of styles and eras
who darts between exuberant pop-funk and mournful ballads."
It`s no wonder that
last month he became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter as part of one of the
biggest viral campaigns of the year with everyone from Lady Gaga, Britney
Spears, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus tweeting, "Who is Sliimy?" Blog
gossip king Perez Hilton began writing about Sliimy`s music last December after
receiving an email of Sliimy`s cover of Britney Spears' "Womanizer." As a
result, Sliimy was signed to Warner Bros. Records in France while still in high
school. His CD went to No. 2 in France and has been certified gold. Sliimy
opened up for Britney Spears and Katy Perry on select dates in Europe this
summer.

Sliimy`s "Paint Your Face" CD was co-written by Sliimy and musical partner Feed
who produced all the tracks as well.
Sliimy is already receiving critical raves from music publications like NME as
well as UK`s The Guardian: "The first word that comes to mind is fabulous." And
from Radio France: "An album so zingy and fresh it explodes in your mouth like
the sweetest of sorbets! This album should be sold in a cone."

"Sliimy has been compared to Mika and Prince but truly is a unique artist that
makes music that is universal, fun, sophisticated and quirky pop songs that will
make you happy and put a smile on your face," commented Hilton.

The first single, "Wake Up," written by Sliimy and bundled with a joyous
colorful accompanying video is currently available on iTunes.

"The two ii`s are just meant to make you smile," revealed Sliimy who was born in
Saint-Etienne, France.
