A smooth, sultry jam music One of Diana's best singles of the 80s.Written and produced by Michael Jackson.During one of her concerts,Diana joked "Michael Jackson wrote this song for me,but I don't know if it's his fantasy or mine!" lol

Luv this!
I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.

The production on this is so Heartbreak Hotel-ish.
Michael was so into the spooky string sounds affirming
that he actually was very instrumental in the producers chair. The same spook production is in Dirty Diana IMHO.

Did you hear about him being so jealous of Arne Næss marrying Diana he refused to go to the wedding AND Evan's christening? lol

BTW, I wish he would've wrote more songs for other artists. I also wonder what other stuff did he do behind the scenes, like those background vocals on the Doobie Brothers tracks

Yeah,he was a master at creating songs with a haunting feel.LaToya's "Nighttime Lover" and Rebbie's "Centipede" (both written and produced by MJ) are classic examples of this.

Night Time Lover was originally for Donna Summer

The funny thing as at the time i can remember alot of talk about the video being too hot for tv, wow how times have changed, this would be considered nothing today.

Have you seen Trey Songz' new video?

If that gets played on TV, I'll be surprised...

"Fool For Love" is, by far, my favorite track on the "Silk Electric" CD! It's great the hear Diane stepping outside her Pop/Soul comfort zone and doing some hard-rock.
