yes! Terrence, but most likely, he won't do it. What about Soul II Soul and Loose Ends and Lisa Stansfield?

Would be an excellent choice. Lead singer Renee Diggs died
of complications from MS in 2005. Her bandmate and long time
companion Ernesto Phillips who also sung lead died a year earlier
of a stroke. Renee was a very underrated vocalist.

I never knew they sang Object of My Desire. I thought that was either Atlantic Starr or Shannon. I think they may be a bit obscure.

Definitley Five Starr and also Christopher Williams. Christopher had the looks and he could sing...I wonder what happened?

One on Starpoint would be cool too.

They actually have quite a few good songs that got a lot
of airplay. Just not many of them made the top 10 or 20.
He wants my body,It's all yours, what you've been missin
are other notable hits. I don't know all the criteria
for TVone coming up with the unsung episodes.

I am pretty sure Christopher beat Halle, that's what happened. Plus old boy was charisma free.

Co-sign Switch, Jermaine Jackson (as a solo artist), The Time and Ready for the World. I think Jesse Johnson as a solo artist would also be a good one.

En Vogue? Aren't the like the third biggest selling female group of all time? Behind The Supremes and TLC? Those girls were huge---irregardless of how you measure success...pop/r&b and some would argue rock with their hateful Free Your Mind tune. Aren't the Pointer Sisters the only act ever to have top pop/r&b and country songs? They were huge during the late 70's and 80's.

I hope Unsung doesn't turn into a DramaSung....if that's the case then count me out cause I want to learn about artist that might not have received public exposure, not peddle in tabloid fodder...if that's the case then call the show Behind the Black Folks Music.

I don't know how much charisma he had, but he adamantly denied beating Halle, stating that it was Wesly Snipes.

Donna Allen wouldn't cut it. She is beyond
obscure. I can only think of two decent
songs by her Satisfied and Serious.
