I'm talking about the trials, the things people said about his face, the things people said about him dangling Blanket over the balcony.

Sometimes I don't even associate Michael from the 70's to the michael now lol ,,,too bad there aren't time machines to warn him

MJ in the '60s, MJ in the '70s, MJ in the '80s, MJ in the '90s and MJ in his last years...

Five totally different cats though they all share the same pain.

I'm still waiting for "Serious Effect" in high quality without all the hissing sounds and cracks and pops. (Anyone out there?)

Check out this Beat It demo (Not the version from the This Is It companion album. According to the summary, this is an early version of "Beat It" where the vocal part was already in it. )

So what did we make of the 'Thriller' demos?

Took me back to a happy time in life, when everything new MJ made was played a zillion times. lol

I love them! I'm so glad the fan that coped them wasn't greedy but decided to share them. "Hot Street" and "Trouble" are my jams music But really, "Starlight," "Baby Be Mine (Demo)" and "Nite Line" are amazing. I love them all!

I found this recently. Fab Morvan (one half of Milli Vanilli) posted this blog about Michael Jackson one day after MJ died. I think it is so true and profound to read. He put to words, some of things I couldn't.

Remembering Michael Jackson
Blog by Fab Morvan

Why is seeing believing?
It seems like our society is focused on only believing
what they can see with their eyes. On the other hand,
feeling is what lets you know you’re alive. When an artist
comes along who has the ability to make us feel, he or
she will remain in the fiber of our conscious mind to become
part of our memories. We will then cherish those memories forever.
If that artist happens to leave us, it’s as if a part of us dies as well.
This kind of premature departure can have a very powerful impact
because of the fact that we don’t want to let those memories go.
Nor do we want the individual responsible for them to leave us.
We are suddenly confronted with our mortality and realize how human
we all really are.

Michael Jackson was definitely one of those very special
artists. He’ll remain immortal… We wouldn’t have it any other way.
We love you Michael, and will never forget what you gave us.

I was listening to "Gone Too Soon" and that part about
"Like a sunset dying with the rising of the moon" came on and I got
suddenly a horrible feeling of pain in my stomach and throat. I don't
know if I will ever be able to listen to that song without it kinda
kicking me at certain points. I miss knowing MJ is alive.

I think it's because people never look into Michael's behind the scenes work. They talk about the usual and that's it

Go look at books about Michael. They'll about the same thing (with the exception of For The Record and In The Studio With Michael Jackson)

There's no books about his music and how it was done

But in all honesty, what can be said about how Michaels music was done? I wish Michael would have allowed us inside the studio when he recorded a lot of his stuff. I think it would have made great footage

I agree. This is why i really think they should release THE MAKING OF THE INVINCIBLE ALBUM . Rodney Jerkins did say Michael told him to film everything so the footage does exist. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would love to see this as the theatrical follow-up to THIS IS IT

I wish those lucky bastards who have Men In Black would leak it. Those Dangerous flight promos are the most valuable piece of MJ bootlegs out right now, I reckon. Anything more expensive is probably unreleased masters in Sony or Universal's vaults. But, I can see the value in not leaking it. There was someone who had the Thriller demos that leaked last week and they were upset lol They probably paid an arm and a leg for their copy.

When was the last time a pressing was on ebay? Last year.

OMG THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS GREAT DOCUMENTARY IT WAS AWESOME! excited

but in the real though i dont think they gave Michael Jackson the justice the credit and honor he deserved and spent only 10 seconds discussing MJ and 10 minutes glorifying and praising Prince and they seemed to talk down alot on MJs success and passed him off as his being inferior to Prince as far as their music and talents go this video was bias and obviously more in favor of Prince than MJ
[Edited 11/8/09 18:35pm]

yea i watched it yesterday and thought the same thing more Prince in there it wasn't really equal, but i watched it.
I saw that a lot also. Michael got a few bits of recognition, but the documentary seemed to be all about Prince, which I had no problem with because I love both of them.

Great video thanks for sharing. MJ must have been the coolest dad, totally in touch with his own childlike nature. Comments on the kids from friends also say that the kids are so well behaved, so he knew how to discipline them with love too. I just hope they don't misis him to much and manage to have successful lives of their own.

So funny when the woman sings his part razz

Jackson Kids Go Out, “This Is It” Up to $185 Mil Worldwide

Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” has actually hit $185 million worldwide and will keep going past Thanksgiving, sources tell me.

“It’s conceivable that it’s on its way to $250 million,” says a source.

So it’s all good, with the companion album from Sony Music expected to hit the 500,000 mark.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, unbeknownst to anyone, Michael’s kids got some R & R and fun time. They went to the Lakers game on Friday night with AEG’s Randy Phillips, nanny Grace Rwaramba (yes, she’s baaack!), and two of Tito Jackson’s kids.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket got to see Kobe Bryant score 41 points in the Lakers win, and no one bothered them. I’m told they also spent some time at the pinball arcade next to the Staples Center. How did they get away with it? “They used AEG security instead of the Jacksons,” a source tells me. “And they wore normal clothes.” Nice.

Now — as far as the kids seeing “This Is It“– they have not seen the movie yet. One attempt was made to bring them to a theater, but paparazzi caught on. The field trip was aborted.

And the kids’ status: “They seem to be in good shape,” says a source. Still, this week, as I reported a few days ago — Debbie Rowe will ask the family court to enforce her custody/visitation agreement.

What was so great abot Aaliyah? She was just another Brandy/Rihanna.

Even if Rihanna would die now she'd become a heroine, a musical pioneer, a multi-talent, a saint an all-time role model for all human beings.
