I remember watching this while getting my hair cut at the barber shop. Was 5 years old.

Another Org staple! I guess I'll do the honors of saying I prefer the Teddy Riley remix and posting it:
"Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

This is a great song and the Remix has got to be one of the greatest remixes that Teddy has done, aside from of the 'Remember the time" remixes, that he had done for MJ. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

This song is a shining example of everything that was RIGHT about late 80's/early 90's pop music. Facebook, I haz it - https://www.facebook.com/Nikster1969

An early 1990 single from an album released late 1989.

AMG says the album came out in 1989 though the single "Don't Want To Fall In Love" came out in early 1990 in the US.
Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine Jane Child's debut album was a pleasant excursion into synthesized dance-pop that was distinguished by the ingratiatingly catchy single, "Don't Wanna Fall in Love." A handful of other songs on the album — including the minor hit "Welcome to the Real World" — demonstrated Child's skills as a pop craftswoman, but just as many fell flat.
