Motown tribute concert in Detroit, Nov. 21st

Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations (the Otis Williams version), Berry Gordy, and emcee Sinbad are on board for a salute to Motown at the Motown Historical Museum's Nov. 21 gala at the Detroit Marriott hotel.
Tickets for the gala start at $350

Speaking of The Queen of Soul, her long-awaited ARETHA: A WOMAN FALLING OUT OF LOVE will be released in January 2010 on Aretha Records. The album is produced by Gordon Chambers (he did "Wonderful" on her last album 2003's SO DAMN HAPPY), BeBe Winans and Franklin. The album will be sold via QVC on cable, iTunes and a Wal-Mart exclusive. There is a duet with Karen Clark-Sherard on their.

Both Wonder and Franklin are still basking from their major concert appearances last week in NYC at Madison Square Gardens for the 25 Anniversary Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame concerts Oct. 29th and 30th, where Wonder had special guests: John Legend, Sting and Jeff Beck; and Franklin duetted with Annie Lennox and Lenny Kravitz.
