People been lip-syncing for YEARS. This is why I don't understand the big deal. Even great singers lip-sync (Soul Train, American Bandstand, Top of the Pops anyone?). Some don't choose to, some do, and some others because they're more talented in an all-around way will choose it. Now all of a sudden Britney is supposed to be blamed for it? GTFOOH.

Honestly i would expect some dumb shit like this to come from the USA. Heres the deal, there are certain things you expect from Britney, ONE she better be dancing big time, and TWO she better look hot! Everything else i could care less, im not going to hear her voice, if these people can honestly say they like Britney for her outstanding vocals, then they are all liars. Britney uses things that ALOT of pop/dance singers use, prerecorded tracks. She isnt playing the exact record that you bought in the store, the vocals are prerecorded, she is NOT the first to do this, there are tons that do it! Heres some that do, Mariah,Tlc,Chris Brown,Rihanna, Beyonce (on occasions), Janet,MJ (did it alot!) and yes even Prince has done it, and MANY others have also done it, PRINCE has even prerecorded band parts to tighten it up on stage, so spare me this Britney bullshit already. If you dont know what you will get from her at this point your just stupid and if you complain about it, youre even more stupid.

Personally, I think it all really boils down to: 1) vocal ability, meaning the singer's voice is either very weak or almost non-existent to begin with, 2) a desire to push yourself to that level; and, 3) they need to learn better breath control. Swimmers have to do certain breathing exercises to be able to perform well; not that different when it comes to singing really. I think Britney's problem is that her voice was never really that strong to begin with nor does she have any outstanding vocal range even when she was younger; plus, she's a smoker and that's just really destroyed what decent vocal ability she did once have. I've seen old videos of her singing as a kid and she had a husky and mature voice for her age that was pleasant, but she lost that a long time ago.
