One thing: her hair. Oh and I guess the song Umbrella, but that hairstyle just really changed everyones perception of her, changed her whole image, it made her different. I remember myself when she first came out she irritated the hell out of me. I thought she was just another wannabe, but after Umbrella I didnt become a fan, but I really didnt mind her at all anymore. I even quite like her more than most stars. | |

How did Rhianna get so famous? That has been one of the questions that has plagued me for several years now.

Ciara and Christina are particularly generic, Amerie probably should be a lot more famous I dunno why she isn't, I'd be all for supporting her but she's dropped off the face of the planet. Rihanna's released 4 albums since 2005. You have to be proactive about staying in people's minds these days. EDIT: Wut's with all the Illuminati crap?
