The clap intro is wild ain't it? It gets crazy when the guitar licks kick in
Funny that you mention "Car Wash", I was listening to the album today at work and I got stuck with this groovette... I had this album since 2002, I don't remember EVER listening to that song,,,,,I'm guilty as charge of skipping the most outlandish shit

Yeah, this is a childhood classic.I remember going to see the movie in theatres. It was a double feature with the Redd Foxx comedy 'Norman,Is That You?' Back in those days,we always had double features.

Every time the movie airs on TV though, I hear a track playing in the background and go back and find it on the album. I discover a track I like but had been skipping every time the movie airs. I guess it's because my taste has expanded more than it used to be over the years. . . . [Edited 11/12/09 18:45pm] Andy is a four letter word.

The soundtrack is filled with wonderful gems. They should have released the slow jam "You're On My Mind" as a single. That's a favorite of mine.

Norman's boyfriend was hilarious. Red Foxx brought him a hooker thinking he could change him but all they did was compare fashion tips. Andy is a four letter word.

I like the part where Redd Foxx's character goes into a bookstore and buys all these books about the gay lifestyle. The clerk looks at him like he's crazy, lol.
