A funny story about this song (Prince-related)....
Prince heard this song on the radio in early 1983 and he mistakenly thought it was a Jam and Lewis production.In those days,he didn't really allow his "proteges/employees" to work with other artists,so he didn't like the idea of Jam and Lewis "moonlighting" on the side.They repeatedly insisted that this song was NOT one of their productions....lol... | |

They certainly did.Their 80s albums are excellent,with the exception of 'This Kinda Lovin',a weak 1981 album that they produced themselves.The title track is the only great song. | |
