What are you on mate? Janet has to promote her GH (like the BIG INTERVIEWS SHE DONE FOR GMA AND OPRAH TO PROMOTE HER ALBUMS IN THE PAST) so there would be an interivew regardless of MJ's death. Michael's passing was part of her life so she's just answering what the public want to hear. How weird would it be seeing Janet not mention HER VERY VERY FAMOUS BROTHER WHO DIED 5 MONTHS AGO??? in an interview. People would complain if she dodged questions anout Michael.If MJ's own family can not talk about him - then who can without being viewed by pessimist's as cashing in on his death? ONCE AGAIN HOW DUMB WOULD IT BE SEEING A JANET JACKSON INTERIVEW WITHOUT HEARING HER FEELINGS ABOUT HER BROTHERS DEATH - WHICH HAS AFFECTED HER LIFE!!! ????? Robin Robert's first special featured random country artists and was loosely tied with the Country Music Awards. Janet is opening up the AMA's (which I don't see as connected to Michael's death since she has been doing that kind of stuff for most of her album promos rather than appearing on many talk shows. | |

But what you said can be said about many other fan bases especially Madonna and Mariah's fan base. I just think most MJ fan are just .....  true, it comes with every pop star's fanbase, but from what i've seen, the Janet fans are only second to MJ's in the looney department. and i say this as a HUGE former fan. (and moderate current fan). I think Madonna fans are 2nd. Some have gone as far as to throw racist remarks. But yea some fans can be so ridiculous and I got the "Janet fans are the root of all evil" from a MJ forum where Janet fans haven't said anything but nice things about MJ. | |

i really enjoyed the interview. was surprised to hear her say she never liked her smile.  are you kidding me?? that, to me, is one of her defining features. but we all have our issues. lol.
i think the questions were well put and it seems like nothing was left out. i was also glad to hear that her favourite album of hers is "The Velvet Rope". her hits collection is one of few that were actually done right. can't wait to see the entore video for "Make Me". yes, she's Michael's little sister, and also all the other Jackson's little sister. lol. but i've never looked at her as that. why can't she just be looked at as an individual who is also related to another famous individual? i've always prefered Janet over Michael but that shouldn't mean someone can't like them both. i don't feel she was using her brother's death at all. how can that NOT be brought up? and i don't believe we should ever deny someone's right to talk about their loved ones.

I couldn't care less about Janet. The only reason I watched was to hear about Michael. I think it's funny how La Toya and Janet are both saying they were closest to Michael.
Anyway, I don't understand why they talked about his drug use. He died because his doctor administered a leathal amount of sleep medication of which he assured Michael it was safe. Michael didn't die from recreational drug use. He was only using medication to deal with health issues. I.E. not a drug addict. Of course, he had drug problems in the past, but it seems to me that he'd gotten over that prior to his passing. I so wish that he wasn't gone. | |
