Kate Bush > AC/DC iTunes

The other day I was looking for some Kate Bush (hounds of love) and AC/CD (a greatest hits package) and found they r no where to b found on iTunes (usa). Any1 know why?

I ended up going to a local record store and got Kate Bushe's "hound of love". next to The Red Shoes....this is a must have!

AC/DC has never released a greatest hits/best of collection. Anything that's out is a bootleg. They are releasing a collection soon called "backtracks", but it's bootlegs and live songs. They have live sets but nothing with their studio recordings.

You know what....never mind. NOTHING from AC/DC is Itunes. Not sure what they are waiting for but considering their Wal-Mart deal, it was smart to wait (BTW, found that album at Meijer the other day...guess it only lasted a year and through that time, they sure sold a lot).

Its similar to what the Beatles have done, the thing is Back In Black is still one of the biggest selling albums every year, year in year out still. Im guessing they are gonna hold back their catalog for awhile, alot of bands are not willing to give in to the whole "breaking up the integrity of the FULL album" to sell songs at 99 cents a pop. Cant say i blame them.

Kate's greatest hits (The Whole Story) is in MAJOR need of remastering. And updating. The sound is so tinny, esp. on "The Dreaming".

Hounds of Love is one of the most gorgeous records. Ever. Perfect from beginning to end, and it reconciles her creative sides so well.

It ties with The Dreaming as her top record, imo.

But I have a soft, soft spot for Never for Ever and The Kick Inside. fallinluv

I don't think so..

apart from the Japanese limited edition masters from '05 and the 90's remaster of Hounds of Love.

were those Japanese ones actually remastered? or are they like those mini-LP replicas that use the most current version? thought about tracking them down, but can't make heads or tails as to the quality.

They're the latter. Yeah, agreed about the quality.

Can't know unless you try it out.. with a little searching of course. wink
