This I have to see and I don't usually care about this type of ish. But I am expecting it to be a whitewash [Edited 10/31/09 22:24pm] "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Leave the girl alone. Whether or not this is a play for sympathy, who cares. That girl was brutally beaten by a barely literate thug who got away with it. She gets a pass from me for the forseeable future. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I will definitely be watching this. The new CD cover is really dark and unappealing. I like the song but not enough to download. Has it even been released as a single? I just don't see her finding the same success this time out.
Her record company must've gotten tired of all the street modeling and told her to get back to work already. She makes me uneasy, for some reason. "Be glad for what you had baby, what you've got..."

What the hell is street modeling? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Can artists stop doing this stuff already? The best thing for her to do is to stay out of the spotlight for a time, this looks all too calculated, let me talk now right before my album comes out and a new single hits the waves after the first didnt go anywhere. Its disturbing. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Kinda thinking the samething it comes off as manipulative or it appears that way. I'll skip it.

I'm not surprised and if this was anyone else-ahem, Bouncy-I'd be pissed, but I am curious and I think it's important that Rihanna tell her side, even if it's manufactured "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I bet she says a whole lot of nothing

I wish she would stop being a victim and get on with her life

How is she acting like a victim still? She hasnt even talked about it or made any kind of a deal about it. Maybe she has used it to make herself stronger and wiser and has moved on. We have no idea, but I don't get how someone could act like she's milked the situation.

Well, word has it that she WON'T touch on the incident, but instead she'll say she wants to be the spokesperson for all women who've been in the situation ..

NurseV, excuse me-did you even SEE the pic of Rihanna afer she got the "not so brutal" beat down from Chris? Did you even read about how he pounded on her and beat her?!! Just because you can walk or even crawl as Rihanna did from a beating does not mean it is not brutal.
I am so sick of people blowing off Rihanna's beating and in fact all domestic violence cases. As a woman you should know better. I am ashamed of you. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Also, I feel like Chris Brown did an awful thing, but should be forgiven just like anyone else. He is young and so is she. In no way am I saying it's okay to abuse anyone, but people deserve forgiveness.

Diane Sawyer Interviews Rihanna November 2, 2009 In an exclusive interview, music superstar Rihanna sits down with Diane Sawyer revealing publicly for the first time what happened last February with singer and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The incident resulted in the couple's seemingly fairytale relationship being shattered and Brown being sentenced to community labor, five years of probation and one year of domestic-violence counseling. The interview is scheduled to air on "Good Morning America" on Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 a.m. ET, and on "20/20" on Friday, Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. ET. During the in-depth interview, Rihanna also talks candidly about growing up in Barbados, her family life and how she has been over the last nine months. http://www.mediabistro.co...1.asp#more

I think you deserve forgiveness if you show remorse. He has not. He recently said he was sorry for what he had done "whatever it was." That is not a remorseful person. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Wow-you know as a woman and a nurse I help victims everyday. I am in no way ashamed of anything I have said-it's true. I have been through domestic violence and it is not pretty as from all your posts you seem to know

I have had people close to me experience domestic violence and I have seen the scars, mental and physical it leaves, so yes, I KNOW whereof I speak and I know where my sympathies lay and it not with some 21 year old lunkhead who felt he was within his rights to brutally beat down someone weaker than him. How do you know what's in that man's heart and mind? Chris Brown is a human being who does deserve forgiveness like anybody does. His saying he is sorry will never be enough for people-they want blood and that's not right either. [Edited 11/2/09 14:32pm]

Judging from his interviews, he is not the brightest or most articulate of beings, so I doubt much is going on upstairs. Like I said, he hasn't acted contrite. The only reason he may even have an inkling of remorse is that this has affected his career. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."
