Dinosaur Jr. appreciation

Are here on the org some Dino Jr. fans? I know it's different music genre than Prince, but I'm sure some of you folks listen to this legendary band! What are your favourite songs/albums? Did you see them live?

I saw them live last year in Prague - it was probably the coolest gig I've ever seen. Joe Mascis played some stunning solos and even thought he said just "Thanks for coming..", he was great.. 3 days after this gig I had still pain and hiss in my right ear.. lol I can understand why they are the one of the loudest bands in the world!

I really like You're Living All Over Me and Bug, and I think Where You Been is a little underestimated as well. I haven't heard any of their recent records, but my understanding is that they're apparently quite good.

They're playing here in November, but I don't think I'm going to go - I don't stay up late enough to go to rock gigs, and even if I did I'm not sure my ears are up to that level of punishment anymore.

I'm listening to Where You Been right now - very underrated record. If you would have some time, check out their last album "Farm". It stands out there with Bug wink

They're amazing live..and don't worry about your ears - I've heard they're handing out ear-muffs before each show wink
