Wow, I can't think of one funk song that's about a Birthday.. I can think of plenty funky songs about partying.

Wendy & Lisa's "Happy Birthday" (B-side of the "Honeymoon Express" single) has a sick bass and rhythm guitar line. But short of digging for it online, I have no idea how to find it these days. [Edited 10/28/09 20:55pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
