No doubt, If Motown release a new MJ album, it needs to be of all the material they did together. MJ said in an interview back in the 80's he thinks they should have released it.

Don't know. I assume Hip O Select will release it alongside the regular edition on their website

They really need to release that whole album he did with Stevie. For me that is the most sought after thing in the MJ vault.

based on that snippet, I prefer the Carl Anderson version so far.

Yeah, they need to release that album now.

I still wonder when they gonna release the OT 30th anniversary edition? I thought this was planned long ago?

I´d love to have the book as well. Are there just pictures or is there some text as well.

In relation to Thriller..

I met John Landis again last night in london, spoke to him and enjoyed his company. Also his stories about the making of Thriller were great (all new to me), but the Vincent Price bit was shocking and sad.Landis is starting to open up about his ongoing battle with the MJ estate etc. How long has this been going on?

According to Landis, Vincent Price was only paid 7000 bucks for Thriller, if thats true, kinda sad.But 7 g's in the early 80's may have been a lot?

Well considering all he did was speak into a microphone,$7,000 is pretty damn good I think, especially in 1984.

The audio from the Japanese tour in 1973 was professionally recorded and released as a live album, and I'm willing to bet the video was recorded to.

I find this hard to believe.. Michaels was most generous, look what he did for Little Richard, and Marlon Brando..

Actually Vincent Price was given a choice. He was told that he could have cash for his vocals or be given a small percentage of the album sales. He choose the cash.
