Are there any pics of Madonna and Prince together from the 1985 American Music Awards ? I can't find any! Was he even there at the Awards? | |

I can't find a pic of them together at that show,but here's Madonna solo:

Here's Madonna and Huey Lewis at the 1985 AMAs,announcing Prince as the winner for "Best Album" in the R&B category.Unfortunately,it cuts off before he comes up onstage.

Does anyone know if Prince was actually there though? I'm guessing he wasn't and they probably just ended up accepting the award on his behalf or they could have shown a taped/recorded speech by him. I really have no idea... | |

He came onstage with all the members of the Revolution.He received three awards that night.Earlier in the evening,Vanity presented an award to him.On this show,he also performed "Purple Rain". Interesting,during Cyndi Lauper's appearance,she performed "When You Were Mine" (a Prince song). | |
