I know I would of if I was only learning about him, as I wouldnt be completely sick to death of the songs, the performances wouldnt of seemed samey, and I would be seeing a different side to Michaels personality. But any hardcore fan will know it really didnt show anything new or in depth about Michael. Thats why I wanted more behind the scenes footage. Stuff like when Michael had the long straight hair. Thats the footage I enjoyed the most. Him practicing dancing in a little room, picking the dancers etc. Just unrehearsed stuff. U do know that it was edited down so that it would fit into 2 hours and they could make a dvd full of extras. I think the movie did what it was supposed to do. It showed MJ as a sweet and innocent person. Sure, the average MJ fan believes that he is all of those things and more, but we never got a chance to see him do it. To me, this is the type of movie where it could be "better" but to me, it was good and well done with what they had to work with. It is sure to get nominated for an Oscar or 2. Not to mention, MJ doesn't have an Oscar (I don't think he has a Golden Globe either). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

He never got to rehearse it but there were other songs rehearsed, which is why some ppl like me want them to include more footage on the dvd/blu ray release "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I just got back from seeing the movie, and I had mixed emotions. I would be smiling or laughing at somehting that Michael said or did,and then I would remember that he gone,I would start to cry,and think "god, this sucks",not the movie, but the fact that to see it,we had to lose him.
When I left the theater I accidently left my wallet in the seat next to me,I got to the car,and then remembered. When I went back in to get it,the room was empty, but they were still playing music. Before I left the room,I turned to the screen, and said Thank you Michael. Those shows would have been so amazing. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

I just saw it today. I wanted to avoid the crowds but now I want to go again when it's crowded. I was crying, laughing, clapping so hard...along with the rest of the small movie audience. It took everything possible for me not to get up and dance. This would have been the most amazing concert EVER!! I thought Michael looked great...He was thin, but it looked good on him. I just looked for the reviews over here and most of them are in tone of what japanrocks posted. I haven´t found one single really positive review. I personally loved the film. If Mike wasn´t gone and the film did not have the bitter taste because of it, we would have agreed that he gave a great performance and that the show was great (of course, we do agree about this, but for obvious reasons, you can´t get over too excited over it once the reality hits you). The reviews I read over on the org and other foreign websites were all positive. Can´t remember a negative one. I don´t understand why the "know-it-all" journalist overe here can´t see a thing positive about it. They basically wrote that it is a bad document not making any sence desperately putting together any pieces of footage, not showing Michael´s real personality and whatever it shows of Mike´s personality is laughable. They describe him as a naive, childish idiot, basically, and that it is very difficult to look at this "falling-apart, corpse-like creature". He never got to rehearse it but there were other songs rehearsed, which is why some ppl like me want them to include more footage on the dvd/blu ray release I am not sure he might have rehearsed it, if you look in the trailer the girls are praticing at the staples centre and in the film they are in a warehouse so there is definately more footage from them. Also you can see the bed in the background whilst he is on the cherry picker in one of the scenes. I am hoping it is being saved for the dvd extras alot of the footage in the trailer arent in the actual film so i hope they make a really amazing dvd with loads of extras we are missing a few of the songs from the film such as Dirty Diana Bad Dangerous We are the World Heal the World Will you be There though the last 3 apparently werent being done until they got to London and had the choir there The most annoying thing is they talk about how they are going to talk about the show ending just before the man in the mirror but they never tell you how it ends. I looked at him today n while sitting there in amazement I told my sister that I really could not comprehend what it is about Mike that makes him so superior to the other dancers. The back up dancers were the best of the best, yet our 50 year old Michael outshone them everytime. But it's something you cant pinpoint. Its mindboggling to me. My sister said, 'its because MJ is so smooth'. Nobody moves like our guy. He really is the Greatest entertainer ever, imo. I have tickets for saturday and Im sure ill make 2 more days next week. I was not sad at all the entire time. He was alive up there n amazing. His voice , beautiful. Long Live the King.
It's that X factor. We're so used to manufactured talent these days, that when we see actual, real live, born talent, we can barely define, describe or comprehend it. I loved how he was the total boss throughout the film. Everybody just literally looks up to him and it kind of provided an inside look into how yes people begin.

One journalist wrote that MJ was a hypocrite speaking about love and the need to save the world. How can someone write that about someone who has given more to charity than anyone else? Why are people so judgemental about this part of MJ´s character? We all know he sang and spoke about it more than anyone else, but he also did in this way more than anyone else which means to me that it was genuine. Still, MJ was not the only person singing about peace and love. Has, for instance, John Lennon ever been accusied of being hypocritical, naive or childish? Not to my knowledge...
They also wrote how this film was just for the die-hard fans, that there´s nothing to appreciate about this film for non-fans. Mike gave better performance at a rehearsal than most "top-world artists" nowadays onstage. His talent shows in this film. Of course, the camera and stage ain´t the way it should be, but it´s just a rehearsal...I just don´t get some people....
