Stevie Wonder - Summer Soft I finally got the Songs in the Key of Life album and totally adore this song. It´s one of the most beautiful ever.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

You ain't hear NOTHING yet!! Try giving, "I am singing" ND "Ordinary Pain", a spin... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

It's one of my favorites as well. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

The way he makes his voice fly is truly divine.

Damn I love this track. The keys at the end... the organ.... His voice.
What really, REALLY trips me out about this whole era is that Stevie did this in his damn twenties. Sure, lots of great artists peak in their twenties, but damn..... Maybe Your Baby, Superstition, Superwoman... all songs written when he was 21, 22 years old. And this great track when he was only 25, 26.

i love the whole record, but I hope they give it a proper treatment by remastering it. The sound is a bit cloudy to me.

Start one! I don't think Stevie's fans are like Prince, MJ, The Beatles, etc. Stevie is one of those that will be more appreciated after he's gone. You must remember, Stevie has a huge fan base, but he never achieved the same success that someone like P, MJ, etc. has achieved. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Well, I think Prince has bigger crossover appeal, but I think Stevie has achieved more success. Not that I measure success solely in terms of album sales or grammys, but Stevie has bested Prince in both I believe, and is probably one of Prince's few rivals in terms of musicianship. Stevie no doubt would be as tech savvy as Prince as well if he wasn't blind. Hell, I've seen Stevie work studio equipment too. Seems like Stevie fans disperse themselves onto MJ and Prince boards, and Youtube.

Imagine all of the BIG hits he has? The thing is, Stevie's audience seems to be certain types of people. Stevie's audience seems to be more AC/POP/R&B whereas Prince and the others seem to have an audience that is POP/ROCK/ALTERNATIVE/R&B. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

My mom had over a hundred lps in our living room. This one always stood out for me, and sometimes I would play it when nobody was around. I was 8 years old. One thing I remember about it was I could play every side and it all sounded good.
