Show some love for Shiina Ringo!!! 椎名 林檎 God I love this woman!
She's psychotic, crazy, quirky as fuck, loves NOISE, mixes punk, jazz, rock and pop and is an amazingly talented woman. Granted, she's not to everyone's taste! 
Here's Honnou (where she is rocking out with a megaphone, dressed as a nurse and sucking on a corpse) This was her first single back in '98, Koufukuron This is Mayonaka Wa Junketsu, live with her band Tokyo Jihen. The original song is done with a full horn section. All dressed up in kimono for this one
Here's the original with Skapara on horns: This one is my absolute favourite and also the best film clip. Ringo no Uta (The Apple Song) In this one she dresses up in all the outfits from her other film clips. I'm interested to hear what people who don't know her think..... "...and If all of this Love Talk ends with Prince getting married to someone other than me, all I would like to do is give Prince a life size Purple Fabric Cloud Guitar that I made from a vintage bedspread that I used as a Christmas Tree Skirt."
