Yo can someone help my friend myfavorite out? UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED (Thanx Pali!) Hey, guys, there's a song, I'm guessing a funk joint, with these lyrics:
"there's something bout cha, that sho nuff turns me on..you're more to me than just another pretty face" She thought I was playing with her when I told her I didn't know it but I don't... another problem she don't know the name of the group but she said the song was in the 1980s... anyone help? Do you think you can solve it or do you think she should be more specific, she said a thread of this song was created but I can't find the thing! lol THX! [Edited 10/22/09 10:42am]

OH! And she said the song reminded her of the Bar Kays' "Traffic Jammer" so maybe y'all can figure it out. Y'all are more up on '80s funk than moi.

I'm trying to figure out.... "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I use to mix "Something About You" with "Traffic Jammer" until I saw that "Got To Be Enough" by Con Funk Shun flowed into it better. Andy is a four letter word.

myfavorite said: do you do those as a mash-up? ..or just party tracks?? I just mix one song into another when they breakdown. I can do mashups and megamixes but they take a lot of time to do, not to mention inspiration which I haven't had lately. I haven't done one since my cassette deck broke because I don't know how to make a mix on a computer. I would record snips of an intro or breakdown on a cassette, use the pause button, and repeat the process until I made a loop. Then I would burn the loop on a CD and mix it with another song. It just takes too long and you really have to be in the mood when you do it. Andy is a four letter word.
