This Is Not It . com http://this-is-not-it.com/#
You guys seen this? It's about how some fans are joining together to boycott the movie. I think MJ's life was the way it was is SUPPOSED to be and fans do actually deserve to see his last days good or bad. Like it or not his life was determined before he even got here so haters and all...his legacy mystery and fame are all positioned perfectly. They sittin over here carrying on and blaming people. Get over it. But thats just my opinion.... Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Isn't the movie just about his rehearsal for the tour? Why on earth would anyone wanna boycott that.

I'm just curious. What exactly is this "movie" supposed to be about? Is it about his latest concert tour rehersals he was doing before his death. Or, it is a collection of performances of various tours? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That is the dumbest thing I've seen yet about MJ.
The film is a documentary about the This Is It shows at the 02. Not performances from various tours. It's a lot like what Truth or Dare was for Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour, except This Is It takes place in one arena/location.

The way I've heard it described made it seem like a "concert movie" not a documentary. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The way I've heard it described made it seem like a "concert movie" not a documentary. Well it's a mix of both. You'll see rehearsals on stage, and otherwise, of the show. But remember, he never performed a show in front of an audience, as he died days before the first show was to premiere. You'll see rehearsal footage, and behind the scenes footage as well. Just like Truth or Dare....sorta.

Now that you explained it was a documentary with rehersal footage rather than full on old concert footage I get it. The "Truth or Dare" example helped. Thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That's some bullshit. Michael Jackson was a grown ass man, no one forced him to do 50 shows.

I get really irritated when I see these loons talking about what a genius he was, creatively and a business man, and how he wasn't really like his public persona when it came to his private life and business and how shrewd he was... and then in the next breath blame everyone but him for his death, and how he was "forced" to do anything and being taken advantage of left and right.

Hahaha, that means they're sidetracked. I never believed MJ was "weak". Man was in the business for 45 fricking years!

maybe MJ was genius, shrewd buisness man, and creative before the drugs took over his life and he became a victim of money grubbing enablers. I mean even Anna Nicole was on the uprise at one point. She went from stripper Ho to actress/Guess model. Drugs destroy...plain and simple. You can't judge a drunk man by his sober days or vice versa. MJ changed and he changed for the worse and now he is dead. Nobody had his back during the last years and that's just the way it was.

blank post [Edited 10/23/09 13:54pm] "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don“t like the idea that he could have it all."

The autopsy, well whatever was leaked, doesn't show him to be the addict that was initially thought.

The autopsy, well whatever was leaked, doesn't show him to be the addict that was initially thought. see...that's why i believe more and more that he was murdered. or perhaps it was never meant to be murder but just a means to control MJ. not like zombie control but the kind of control that comes with a person who feels alone, weak, exhausted and untrusting. you go to the person who can solve all your ills with one little injection not knowing that the injection is the cause of all your ills. think about a person who donates their last bit of fortune to their church expecting a blessing of financial freedom only to realise they gave their financial freedom to the church. all i can say is poor Mikey, RIP, Gone too soon.

He claimed so. He didn't even claim that. What he said was he knew he sold out 10 shows in london and when he woke up the next days he had sold 50 shows in london. He was upset because he didn't want to do 50 shows in london He wanted to do the shows in other cities. Even at the pres conference he said he said these my final shows in london this is just a classic case of Michael Jackson fans not listing to Michael Jackson. the "this is not it" group is a group of hardcore fans who i honestly think are having a hard time dealing with his death. and that's understandable. These are his biggest fans. And they going through in the process and right now there at the point of blame. They want to blame someone for this. I understand where they are coming from. I'm friends with them. I just disagree with them. [Edited 10/23/09 23:26pm]

They're not haters. They're fans who met him in his final few months. They have every right to stand up to these enablers.
