Early-to-mid 90s was the last great era for rap & hip-hop. Sadly those days are long gone.

Compare these lyrics to Lil Wayne's bullshit "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Peace, Hip Hop & Purple Rain How do you like that Cuban Linx 2?.... My bad. yo OB4CL2 is like that. It's dope. I love the flow of the album. My favorite track right now it "Cold Outside" and I love the intensity of "Flying Daggers". The beats are pretty nice even though they aren't all done by RZA. He maintained a certain level of consistency. Rae really took his time to deliver a good overall project. It's a shame he was severely undershipped. Jay rang in at nearly 6 times his first week numbers. They always overstock Jay-Z, not hard to sell when you're the only ckufing album on the shelves. And honestly, his album was mediocre, nothing to write home about. Raekwon definitely pieced together a comparable, not better follow up LP. The Source fronted and gave him a 3 1/2 rating, which he was not hesitant to dispute. I'm cool with the whole progression in the story of this character. More influential, wiser, and he's definitely not the same dude from 14 years ago. He came strong. Bought two copies, but I'm gonna cop the Gold Deluxe edition later this year. Peace, Hip Hop & Purple Rain Love is 2 Weak 2 Define, Just What U Mean 2 Me - ADORE

Peace, Hip Hop & Purple Rain I still can't understand how it takes a rapper 14 years to make a follow up album or in the case of a Dre 10 or so years. Stevie Wonder made talking book 8 months after MOMM, 8 MONTHS! All these dudes have to do is write some rhymes over a beat. It's not rocket science. Still love the Wu. Did Prince ever deny he had sex with his sister? I believe not. So there U have it..

I thought the same thing when Maxwell took 8 years to put out a handful of songs...it's not rocket science..but it doesnt matter long as the tracks are hot..and Linx2 is fyah..
