Obscure pop song of the day: Mike Oldfield "Moonlight shadow"

Never liked "Tubular bells", but this is still a great pop song. I love the guitars on this track. Also like the fact that it has 2 different guitar solo's from 2 different guitars. Simple but nice touch.

This wasn't obscure in the U.K. It was a huge hit in 1983.

Fleetwood Mac's 'Everywhere' in 1987 reminds me a lot of the Mike Oldfield song.

I love that song you posted to. Mike Oldfields "Ommadawn" album, is gorgeous also, though is more like his usual stuff (i.e instrumental).

His guitar playing seems very underated. I never see him mentioned in any rock magazines?
