Chris Brown Announces "Fan Appreciation" Tour October 2009 It's safe to say Chris Brown does not have as many fans as he did before he attacked Rihanna. But he still has some, and he's going on tour to thank them next month. The singer is kicking off his Fan Appreciation tour in Houston on Nov. 14. The venues are small, but a statement from his record company says it's to keep an "intimate" setting. A portion of tour proceeds are going to charities. Brown, 20, was sentenced in August to five years' probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling for the February attack on Rihanna. He's due to perform at his first concert since the attack in New Jersey next week, and has a new song, 'I Can Transform Ya'. The "Fan Appreciation" tour dates are as follow: November 14: Houston, TX (House of Blues) November 15: Dallas, TX (Palladium) November 18: Los Angeles, CA (Avalon) November 19: San Francisco, CA (The Fillmore) November 22: Richmond, VA (Landmark) November 25: Detroit, MI (Royal Oak) November 26: Chicago, IL (House of Blues) November 29: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Revolution) December 1: Orlando, FL (House of Blues) December 2: Atlanta, GA (CenterStage) December 4: Washington, D.C (Warner Theater) December 5: Providence, RI (Lupo's) December 6: Boston, MA (House of Blues) December 11: Baltimore, MD (Sonar) December 12: Wallingford, CT (Chevrolet Theater) December 13: Philadelphia, PA (Electric Factory) http://www.usatoday.com/l...rown_N.htm

Get over it and move on. This boy is what,20? He made a mistake,we all understand that. Doesn't mean he should be racked over the coals until Jesus comes. [Edited 10/21/09 12:14pm]

He did a long interview today with a radio DJ named Angie Martinez. The audio streams are here: http://punchbowlblog.com/...-martinez/ I haven't listened to it all yet, but I read that he speaks about the incident. [Edited 10/22/09 13:30pm] Look, me & my family have been through worse shit so I'm not one that needs the lecture. No one is applauding what happened. All I'm saying is it is now October 22nd. How much longer are we gonna play this game because its been 8 months and counting. And I for one am fucking sick of hearing about it. God didn't set a rewind button on time so the only alternative people have is to move on and learn from the past. It maybe difficult, it maybe painful, it may take years but being able to truly forgive someone is serious and for that reason uncommon. Now everyone looked at this particular situation differently since it well, involved celebrities, who you know are supposed to be God-like robots who never fault or fumble. These are the individuals, the so-called tabloid targets and tragedies whose vices are placed in a public arena for society to bash. Domestic violence isn't extinct but holy shit nothing makes a better story than a young black male, seemingly on top of the world, getting into a fight with his girlfriend, who just so happens to have 5 #1 hits. What is so shock & awe about drug abuse? Nothing really. But we take a different spin on it when it involves an American princess like Lindsay Lohan who hooks up with the wrong crowd. So I mean, I understand what Chris did and it shouldn't be taken lightly but I also know that his life NOR career shouldn't and ISN'T over because of it.

I know where you coming from,,,,,but for somebody who've been through a similar situation myself, I don't have an ounce of compassion toward him nor should I be obliged to and THATS human too. In fact, the whole "Get Over It" talk is what makes bullshit like this so damn repetitive. Punishment is beside the point, examining the root of this problem IS the point,,,,for him and every other sick fuck who puts his hand on a woman, just cause they can, they're the ones(and everybody who sympathize with them) who HAVE to "get over it".
