He had the BEST interviews when it comes to soul singers,,,,,and I love his easy going nature, he knew how to make his guests comfortable.

Never liked Johhny Carson or Merv Griffin', they're abit too much on the stuffed shirt side.

I forget how unprentious Mr. Douglas and the feel of his show was. What's even funnier to me is how barren Douglas sets were, looks like he was doing his show out of a rental stotarge unit. lol
