70s soul song of the day: "Wish That I Could Talk To You" by the Sylvers

Awhile back,I hung out with an Orger who lives nearby and we were listening to oldies and I noticed he had 'The Best of the Sylvers' CD.He introduced me to this song, which I had never heard before.I like it alot!

cool music

Yep, "Wish That I Could Talk To You" was the first cut on the Sylvers debut album The Sylvers 1 (1972) That Orger has a rare gem "The Best of the Sylvers (Boggie Fever)" is hard to find.

I would think so Soul, I'm a big, Big fan of the Sylvers I, II, & III albums. Here are the clips of each of the songs, I think all of those songs from this album have been uploaded in their entirety on the Tube.

lol lol i guess so!

we didn't have 'wish' on a 45 but we did have 'stay away from me' and 'misdemeanor'. so a few years later when they came out with 'boogie fever', i was all over it. my mother's friend bought me the showcase album, and i 'borrowed' my mom's loose change to save up $3.88 to buy the follow up with 'hotline' on it. bought it at a wrecka stow on crenshaw in l.a., near leo's bbq!

those were the dayz... lol
