Like i have the cassette single remix of Laid Back Girl with the rap on it but that version is not on the LP. And you know sometimes the label comes up with the brilliant idea 
to do a remix of a song with a rapper. Don't laugh at my funk

to do a remix of a song with a rapper. I know, but you can't say that they didn't try to cross over or "sell out". The remix of "Before I Let Go" with the rap is HORRIBLE. Those remixes of "Before I Let Go" were done by Capitol Records (for a greatest hits set) against Frankie's wishes.He was quite pissed about it,and rightfully so.He's never been a big fan of hip-hop.He raised quite a ruckus in the late 80s when Rob Base sampled (stole) the "Joy And Pain" hook.
