Yeah i decided that i couldnt take the chance that they "might" not play here in the states (NYC) so im going to Oslo,Norway, i do think they will do a few US gigs, im really thankful to live here in NYC, because i have a feeling the shows they will do will almost all be here in NYC.

We all HAVE to meet up in Oslo for a beer!

I seriously couldnt take the chance that they will come to NYC, i mean, if the USA part happens, which im sure it will, now they are talking 2 weeks, i have a feeling they may spend the whole 2 in New York City, but this was a just in case.

Scoundrel Days is a masterpiece...beaten only by Minor Earth!

I love Scoundrel Days, but Hunting High and Low is still my all-time favorite. I also prefer both Analogue and Foot of the Mountain over Minor Earth Major Sky.

I think after each a-Ha album, especially since the re-formation. i think there was always a chance they would not go on, just based on the differences in what they wanna do, they VERY much remind me of Queen in that respect, all the members wanted different things, all could write, i think in a-Ha's case as Queen's there was always the notion of doing what was best for the band regardless who wrote the song. When they reunited with "Minor Earth Major Sky" it was almost all Pauls writing and direction, though MAGS was starting to come through as a stronger writing force then he was in the 80's, on LIFELINES you could see the 3 once again in mixed boat, they even said they loved the record but there were too many producers and directions going on. With Analogue i felt again they were all throwing in their styles, and with FOOT though it was almost all Pauls work, they recorded the album as a unit, the 10 songs you have on the record are the only 10 songs they walked in with, nothing got tossed, 10 great tracks, the 3 of them around the mic, and playing and it was like it was when they cut the first albums. In hindsight, with Morten turning 50 the others 47,48, Morten has a new child, Paul's family and home is in NYC and his kids are starting school, Mags has similar issues, before this announcement the tour was going to happen anyway throughout the world, this would pull them away from that, if they continued they would probably be going into the next record with Morten approaching 55 and the others in their early 50's, and touring still, i think they saw this was the end and what better way to go out, going everywhere you went the first time, and getting the crowds that you got like then.

Think you summed up the situation perfectly!
