Whitney Houston enters a four-way tie for most Adult R&B top 10s (13) among women in the chart's history, as "Million Dollar Bill" bounds 13-9. With the advance, Houston equals the chart-best top 10 totals of Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey. When the Adult R&B tally first appeared in Billboard's pages in the issue dated Sept. 18, 1993, all four artists graced the list. That week, Braxton reigned with "Another Sad Love Song," Carey ranked at No. 7 with "Dreamlover," Houston showed at No. 31 with "Run to You" and Blige occupied the No. 35 slot with "Love No Limit." | |
