PrintableGod i remember the days of the AMA's when Paul Simon, billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Elton and Neil Diamond used to battle for pop male, this show is a fucking joke, not for the talent, for the research department, the fact that it shows the lameness of the public and the people that put this show together (fot the record Dick Clark hasnt been involved with it, since 1995, his name is on it and thats it). Can this show just be cancelled, im already predicting dreadful tributes to MJ, the Black Eyed Peas and others will do songs from Thriller, i would advice Janet to stay home, though it will be used to launch her hits package im sure. To be fair MJ knew he was still loved when he sold out 50 concerts, okay. he chose to let the stress and anxiety get to him so bad that he couldn't sleep and chose to be injected with propofol, and also the fact that he needed the influx of cash that bad to even have to do those concerts when he had worked his ass off for 30 years and should never have been "broke" and have to work a single day in his life again....

News To all, MJ is going to win all these awards, case closed, get your posting ready now, its a desperate move on the AMA's part, it should just be a straight out tribute, with people like Lionel Richie and others from his time! not todays artists ruining it. and to nominate him in these categories is like saying and the nominees for dieing.....I can see if he actually had an album or some kind of new music out there, but he doesnt, a Best of with the same songs all over again nominated? What a fucking joke, the family should even refuse this shit....HEY i would like to see Kanye jump on the stage when MJ wins best album, and grab the mike away from jermaine or Latoya and say, "wait a minute, i have to say that I had one of the best albums out this year and i cant get nominated because of this?" go for it Kanye, show how much balls you have a make a real statement. Is the the first time ever that something like this has happened. I don't have the sales figures but was Mariah's Number 1's ever nominated for anything? Sly Stone's box set? James Browns' Start Time? The Eagle's Greatest Hits? Were any of the re-issues of Miles' Kind of Blue nominated for Grammy's in the jazz category? Is Miles the winner of the best Jazz artist EVERY SINGLE Year?
