Tamyra Gray She's a very talented singer who was on the first season of American Idol. I have her debut album, The Dreamer...it's really good.

She's good. I voted for her religiously while she was on AI. A lot of people like to say Ruben was, but at least he has been semi-successful. He's sold well on the r&b side and the gospel side. I love Tamyra also. Last I heard, she was living in NYC and performing on Broadway. I LOVE Tamyra, and I think she should have been in the final two with Kelly Clarkson. I think Tamyra's album is the best Idol album I've heard so far, aside from Daughtry's debut.
She mentions Prince on a song too. "Fat Albert and Prince were my two favorite things." | |

Tamyra is still the best contestant to ever appear on Idol IMO. I love The Dreamer and I've been anxiously awaiting her second album. FWIW, her favorite artist is that skinny mofo with the high voice. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis | |
