No I was very serious about that! neutral That was not a joke. The lyrics in that song don't fit R. Kelly at all. I don't know what inspired him to sing about those particular lyrics, when he's always singing about SEX... confused Not to mention he just got busted for having a 17 year old girlfriend at his house while he was recently out on tour.

1. That was proven a rumor by the Chicago police.

2. His music always had church elements

True. I think it's just taboo here in the states. Many men date/wed young women in foreign countries lol

I don't know what inspired him to do these type of lyrics, when we all know he likes little girls that are just barely hitting puberty.

I wonder is he getting excited about going after the young church girls now?

Even the opening piano chops are exactly like TBO, and the little Linn drum fill is exactly like Prince's. It's definitely there. The chord changes are different after the first measure, but the sample is hidden in there. Blake Lewis sampled "Erotic City" on "She's Makin' Me Lose It", but never really credited Prince w/ it. He said it was his "tribute" to Prince and his music. R. Kelly def has a "tribute" in this track. I noticed it right off the bat.

I don't hear the sample though lol I hear the Linn drum and it's reminiscent to "The Beautiful Ones" but not EXACT. The piano chord in the beginning is, as well, but he added his own twist. Maybe he was inspired by "The Beautiful Ones".He did say that Prince is one of his influences. I just don't think he directly sampled it.

Keri Hilson's "Slow Dance" is more Princely than this. I hear the rimshot but that's about it...I think its just for added effect.

People equate the Linn drum sound to Prince. The chord progressions, vocals and bass don't sound anything like Prince at all (which is unusual because R. Kelly is notorious for biting styles). If you took the Linn drum out of the song and the choppy piano chords, no one would say this sounds like Prince.

"The Beautiful Ones".

Thats what it reminds me of.

In falsetto!

Push, audio on now
Push, gettin too loud now
Push, so wild now
Push the mute now
For somebody hear us up in here
So professional I'd swear this here was your career
Don't have to say nothin, girl cause I can read your mind
Cause you want me to go down and, push the power button baby

This song deserves a Grammy!
