Why do I love this song?

It's got a really simple arrangment... It sounds like one drum loop, two guitars, a bass and voice. I like the lo-fi 4-track aesthetic. The simplicity of the production matches the simplicity of the sentiment.

The chorus is catchy and memorable.

I love E's voice. It's world-weary, gruff yet sweet.

It sounds like one of those songs that you think you've heard before, but really haven't.

You can sort of imagine the song on the soundtrack of a particularly mawkish episode of Friends, with a montage of Ross looking gormless whilst he and Rachel are on yet another "break".
