Adam Ant

Before I discovered Prince there was Adam Ant. To this day Adam Ant is my second favorite artist. Go to YouTube and serch for Adam and the ants live in Tokyo part xv. Physical
You might be surprised at how Adam and Prince are alike as showman. Plus you have to love the two drum players. Adam Ant was ahead of his time. Let me know what you think.

I love James. And no one can touch Prince. But other than Prince I think Adam Ant and Jack White are my other favorite artists. Just give Adam a listen. That's all I'm saying.

No one can make music like Prince. He is a modern day Mozart. That is not where this post was going.

a boy in my class got sent home 4 wearing a skirt, stockings & suspenders lol he had a 'david sylvian' haircut complete with makeup...all the girls fancied him..he was ordered out of the class but threw a chair at the teacher & was expelled. sadly we were unable to lay our eyes on his hotness again
prince was cute but adam ant was a testosterone feast

I notice the simliarities with him and Prince back in the 80s. Him and Marco wrote some fine music. Ant Rap is a badass tune biggrin
And the fact he use to go out with Vanity and wrote a tune for her, u can see the camparsions clearly. His new girlfriend(well the one i saw with him in 2008) looked quite similar to Vanity.
The man was hot back the day.

I hate to burst your bubble, but have you seen what he looks like now, nothing like Prince. His songs are ok I guess, but he does not have the showmanship of people like Prince, JB, Madonna or MJ.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Saw vid from OP, quite a good show (shitty song). The similarities to P in dancing and look are coz both modelled their early selves on Bowie+Jagger + the post-pubk/new wave thing. Also, AA was probably studying P.
I just discovered he had a late album produced by Andre C - check out Room at the Top, reminds me of Fruit at the Bottom!!!
