Did you know T-BOZ had a brain tumor? Me neither, but apparently in 2006 she underwent a 7 hour surgery to have it removed from her brain stem. T-Boz told People Magazine that the tumor was the size of a grapefruit and left her deaf and blind for several months.
T-Boz recently revealed to People magazine that she battled a brain tumor for three years. Who knew… T-Boz says she battled her tumor secretly because she didn’t want any pity from people who could be helping or paying attention to other people with bigger issues. She even failed to talk about her brain tumor while participating on Celebrity Apprentic which we’re sure would have earned her major pity votes, but that’s besides the point. T-Boz underwent a 7 hour surgery in 2006, which involved the doctor peeling the tumor from the brain stem by making a cut behind her ear. T-Boz is staying in high spirits and says it will take a lot more than a tumor to stop her. Got to love her determination; hope something good comes her way. T-Boz was my favorite out of the TLC group, who was your favorite? http://www.dallasblack.co...umor3years The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Yeah, it was in the news a couple of weeks ago. She hid the fact of it all, which isn't surprising on a couple of levels....because Tionne is Tionne; she also hid her Sickle Cell Anemia for years too. Glad she's okay.

Girl is a fighter for real...always has been. TLC will always be my favorite girl group and not just because of their music, but because they were some strong and real women. Prince Rogers Nelson

She is a domestic abuse survivor as well! Mack 10 used to use her as a punching bag when they were married. I am glad she is or has recovered from the tumor. Lisa Lopes was my favorite TLC member. R.I.P None of them got what it takes 2 B a future baby mama Gotta bend in the wind, but don't break 2 keep your man Show me 1 of them and I'll make her mine With no more drama Future baby mama

Wow! I didn't know this. She's been through so much, she's a true survivor. I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.

As someone who has been battling Sickle-Cell Anemia all my life, I'm definitely rooting for Tionne. She was definitely sort of a role model for me, even though I'm a young man. Hearing about her going through the same struggles I went and still go through was definitely encouraging. When I was young, even now I feel like noone knows what I'm going through.
Hearing about her inspired me. Here's a woman who was when I was growing up was a member of the biggest group in the world at the time. She had me thinking that I could accomplish anything even my wildest dreams. My illness isn't an excuse for me not trying. I love her and hearing about her latest illness makes me sad, but I know Tionne's a fighter and she'll beat this!!! JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

My cousin has a sickle anemia but inspite of having to have a hip replacement and spending months on end in hospital over the years, he is still well. He is married with two children.

It was all my other health problems caused by my Sickle Cell that was the reason for my Cruel Summer, so to speak. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!
