George Michael DVD

I know we discussed George earlier, but this is the official press release on his site about the upcoming DVD:

Live In London' DVD to be released on 7th December!
GEORGE MICHAEL'S
'Live in London' DVD
To be released on 7th December 2009

George Michael is to release 'Live in London' a special 23 song full concert DVD on the 7th December 2009 through Sony Music Entertainment. This is the first live DVD of George's career. Recorded and filmed at The Final Two concerts in London's Earls Court arena on the 24th and 25th August 2008 these highly anticipated shows marked the end of George Michael's triumphant 25 Live Tour and were the last chance to catch George performing on a stage of this magnitude.

'Live In London' features tracks from George's historic career including 'Careless Whisper,' 'Freedom,' 'Faith,' 'Everything She Wants' and 'Amazing.' A special behind the scenes bonus documentary, 'I'd Know him a Mile Off,' offers a glimpse behind the magic of these sold out shows even shadowing the man himself before and after his performances on stage. 'Live in London' will be available worldwide in two formats, double disc DVD and a single Blu-Ray disc.

When George first announced his 25 Live Tour tickets were snapped up in minutes. The critically acclaimed tour saw George perform in front of over 2 million people worldwide with a 49 date 25 Live Arena Tour and a 30 date 25 Live Stadium Tour. In Summer 2008 Michael took his 25 Live Tour to arenas across North America touring North America for the first time in 20 years. In London alone, 350,000 people collectively watched him performing in Earls Court, Wembley Arena, The Roundhouse and the newly renovated Wembley Stadium, where he made musical history as the first artist to perform at the momentous venue in June 2007.

His exceptional performances in the UK, Europe and North America received unprecedented praise from both critics and fans across the globe.

"George proved he is simply one of the best vocalists this country has ever produced." The Sun

"King George still reigns supreme" Mail on Sunday

"a masterclass in pop genius" The Observer

"A tremendous singer, a complete showman. All George Michael needs is a mic, his songs, and the magic on stage is instaneous" La Parisien

"As he closed with the still stirring 'Freedom', his hands raised high, testifying like an evangelist for self determination. Then he was on his knees, giving the 'I'm not worthy' bow several times towards his fans. His crowds roared back, still dancing to the music, suggesting that maybe he was." Rolling Stone

George Michael is one of the world's most successful male artists, selling over 100 million records world wide and encompassing 11 British No.1 singles, eight British No.1 albums and six US No.1 singles. The Multi talented artist also proved to be a big hit on the small screen as he parodied himself in Christmas specials of the hit UK television shows Catherine Tate Show and Extras.

Last year George participated in the US sitcom Eli Stone, where each episode was titled after a George Michael song and George made several appearances throughout the series.

I'm super excited about it. I just love him and his voice. I hate that he's smoking pot to the point of doing a LOT stupid things, most of which are ending up in the press. It's like a broken record. (Yeah, and pot's not addictive....my ass.) Otherwise....he's a treasure in music.

I wasn't aware of his split. That's too bad. They had an open relationship, and I guess it worked for a while. No idea about the split.

Dr. Funkenberry has it on his site. I guess I won't be seeing George around Dallas (not like I ever did). lol

George Michael is calling the claims that he and his longtime boyfriend Kenny Goss have gone their separate ways "a complete fabrication."

Supposedly Kenny had it with George's consistently bad behavior and split from the singer. The couple hasn't been seen out together publicly since February. George's spokesperson says:

"There is no truth in the matter at all. Kenny has been away in Dallas where he owns a gallery but is scheduled to return home this Friday. They are planning a lovely weekend together."

George Michael has always insisted that he was in an open relationship, saying that "gay relationships are a bit different. I'm sure we'll be allowed to roam if we want to. But we love each other dearly."

Whatever you say, bb, but it sure sounds like you're on the rocks!

We would have dumped you ages ago!

'We have NOT split': George Michael denies rumours his 13-year relationship with Kenny Goss is over

By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 3:48 PM on 06th October 2009

George Michael has today hit back at claims his relationship with long-term lover Kenny Goss is over.

He branded reports the pair secretly split at Christmas after 13 years together 'a complete fabrication'.

It had been claimed the art gallery owner called off the relationship after growing tired of the Careless Whisper singer's promiscuous behaviour and heavy drug use.

An incident which saw the singer charged with drug possession after being arrested in public toilets on Hampstead Heath last year was cited as the last straw.

But a spokesperson for Michael told Mail Online: 'There is no truth in the matter at all.

'Kenny has been away in Dallas where he owns a gallery but is scheduled to return home this Friday. They are planning a lovely weekend together.'

The pair were last seen in public in London in February.

The singer, 46, has insisted in the past that he had an open relationship with Goss, 50.

'Gay relationships are a bit different,' Michael has said. 'I'm sure we'll be allowed to roam if we want to. But we love each other dearly.'

Michael has often been caught out for erratic, drug-induced antics during the course of their relationship, which began in 1996.

The singer was famously arrested for lewd behaviour in 1998 after an incident in a Beverly Hills public toilet and was later sentenced to community service.

In February 2006, he was arrested for possession of a class C drug and was caught in bushes with a van driver on Hampstead Heath five months later. That same year, he was also found unconscious in a car.

He was caught driving while under the influence of drugs in May 2007 and was banned for two years.

And in August this year - just two months after finally regaining his licence - he was again arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

The singer was breathalysed at the side of the road and taken into police custody after his £60,000 Range Rover crashed into the back of an articulated lorry.

Laurie Rowe, the driver, described him as 'completely disorientated' and said the singer asked him if he'd stopped to give Michael a lift moments after the crash.

Michael insisted at the time that he was 'stone cold sober'.

Make It Big/Whamerica Tour '85
The Final '86
Faith Tour
and the Cover To Cover tour

I agree. If he had did that with ME, he'd been OUT. No way in hell you gonna be on the DL with another man and expect me to accept it! lol I'll be like "I love you George but if you wanna fuck that bear-looking dude, I'm done with your ass." lol

He's not on the DL. He and Kenny have always had an open relationship, meaning they both are allowed to fuck someone else, and the other will be okay with it. It works for them, might not for someone else. If George is busy on a tour, or Kenny is flying around for business, then that open relationship can work for them. If they're spending time together, I'm sure one's not ducking out of dinner to get a handjob behind a Burger King.

Now whether they tell each other that they've fucked someone else or not is a term only they know. Some couples want to know, some do not. I know a couple that is open, and tells each other where they're going to play, and who they'll be with. I also know couples that have a "don't ask don't tell" policy. "If you fuck around, fine, be safe, but I don't want to know." It works for THEM.

GM and Kenny have stayed together for 13 years in an open relationship, no reason to think it's not working. If it ain't broke.....

Yeah I know what DL meant. But DL means he's hiding it. He's not. I explained that in my post about having an open relationship. GM has ALWAYS stated that they have an open relationship, and Kenny has too. They both KNOW they're open to roam if apart or something for a long period of time. Gay relationships are different. I could never do an open relationship, but I would consider 3-ways. I just wanna be there w/ my man, and whoever. It gives us the team advantage. haha

the last night was the longest show he ever did. he was knackered doing it and said so

my mates mum got free tickets to the abu dabi or wherever the fuck in arabia or dubia or whatever the fuck the foreign place is where he did the last show, as she lives over there now. she got to see kylie too. how can he announce the last two shows and then add another two afterwards. bloody stoner

I see, lol I would like 3-ways better than just choosing someone for a blow job (which is basically what George and Kenny are doing), lol
