Yeah because Oprah does NOT have rhythm at ALL, she dance with two left feet! Not all black men are HUNG like a horse either all myths!!! Kanye is probably suffering from some mental disorder he's not aware of, seriously! That's another good stereotype he should be trying to live by instead of negative ones like the fried chicken. Pull that dick out and let's see if all black men are hung. Prove whether the myth is right or wrong. Andy is a four letter word.

Sorry guys. I feel like you judged him instantly on the basis of the title of this thread, and are now just trying rationalize it by saying that he is a moron anyway.
The reporter in particular is treating him like he was the stupidest person on Earth, so he responded accordingly. It's not like he had been given a day's notice that he would have been harassed by someone at that specific time, at that specific location and therefore could have formulated the most intellectual, snide response to that guy in advance. Personally, while watching that clip I was baffled by the resporter's apparent superiority complex - I could not believe that he really would ask those questions from him and think that would make him seem somehow smart. The guy was trying to place him automatically in the unintellectual person's role, so he was baiting him. West seemed to be more comfortable throwing his curveball at him by mocking his own racial identity with a widely-known racist stereotype , as opposed to something that would mock him as an isolated individual (that was however just a choice of wording made on the spot). I'll take it however that his intention was just to shut up the reporter about the food questions. Once you add up the level of the absurdity in a situation like that yourself, the other is no longer in such a commanding position. The right response would have just been to tell the guy to go away, perhaps he'll know better the next time around. He was being harassed and you should take that into account before judging his reaction - you're not responsible for it in a same way as you would be in a tv / magazine interview. It's not a neutral situation and people's reactions will vary. Period. [Edited 10/9/09 0:52am]

(I don't know who had the most shocked expression: Mike Myers or Chris Tucker, but nobody was expecting that shit....still makes me laugh to this day. (Kanye really hates losing so everytime he loses I get really excited because I know he's about to say some dumb shit which is going to give me that good, from the bottom of my stomach laugh that makes my day brighter.) Seriously, people really need to stop being angered by this man and just laugh at his ass like I do. Thanks Kanye for all the years of laughter that you have given me and I hope for many more to come because I know that he's not going to stop being an arrogant prick anytime soon Prince Rogers Nelson

Can somebody please explain this whole black people and friend chicken thing? I don't understand were the stereotype came from.
I posted a photoshopped picture of a 'fat prince' once with a bucket of friend chicken, and it never occured to me that this was a stereotype until somebody accused me of racism. Where did this stereotype come from? I'd heard of the Watermelon stereotype (it was quite typical in the South), but I must have missed the boat in hearing the friend chicken one.
