I know about this album,but I've never heard it before  I just know the two singles: "How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye" and "Got A Date". | |

but anyway,it's a nice song Luther was composing some of his best songs during that period (1982/83)....breezy,melodic gems like "Make Me A Believer","So Amazing" and the song you posted.
In the 80s,he wanted to produce an album for Diana Ross,but she declined  That was one of her biggest career mistakes.Her voice was perfectly suited for these type of songs. | |

After years of trying to work with her,she finally agreed to a collaboration in 1987  She allowed him to produce one song,"It's Hard For Me To Say",from her 'Red Hot Rhythm and Blues' album.
