it was all in the neck action ROTFL
I love early Janet
it just bugs the hell out of me
that the debut & Dream Street
fail to hold my interest

I refer back to em from time to time
I play "The Magic Is Working" & "Communication" often though

falloff @ neck action

I love early Janet too! So sweet and innocent love
I'm the total opposite. At first few listens I couldn't get into her debut and sophmore album but with more listens I've grown to really love them. It's her last two albums I can't get into lol Also the Dream Street LP is very Prince-esque, probably why I love it so much. I think many people don't like her early recordings because it wasn't Janet. It was Janet just doing what she was told to do.

YASSSSS!! That gif just gave me so much life!! dancing jig

and of course her role as Penny on Good Times
let me know from the gate
Janet was FIERCE deep down LOL

she was too good at what she did
for that age.. IMHO

do The Pointer Sisters? lol

it's on youtube somewhere

oh yeah, HELLO EVERYBODY that showed
up in the thread
I couldn'y respond to everything
but I read it all

I'm a stan of Janet's shimmy as well lol
and her early 80's bouncy hair love

ROFL @ all the dudes giving Louie "Ski" Carr (one of my favorite soul train dancers who did more posin' than dancin lol) high fives after Janet serenades him. They was acting the same way when Vanity was on there.

That is too cute, her dancing skills have come a long way,
especially from back then. Janet looked sooo innocent.
