I may have to dig out my vinyl today...

I wish he never rally was so against videos after Night and Day release success. He had a lot of good shit after 198-1983, expecially the Body and Soul release (Memphis!) and Mikes Murder soundtrack. He shot himself in the foot with that move but he has/had integrity. He is a national treasure for Is She Really Goin Out With Him alone. | |

I had to be dragged along to his concert in my early teens, but I cried several times throughout the show, and was incredibly moved by the whole performance, I was stunned actually. By his professionalism, how humble and self-deprecating he appeared to be, and yet how very talented he was! The music blew me away... not seen many people to compare with him since! Except the obvious..
